A review of the hazardous materials transport data use was conducted by the Wood-Washington-Wirt Interstate Planning Commission (WWW) staff, with the results of that review compiled in the Hazardous Material Transportation Study. The information was compiled as support data for the justification of a proposed Muskingum River Bridge in the vicinity of Ohio State Route (SR) 821 and Gilman Avenue in Marietta, Ohio. Sources for the information were the Washington County Emergency Management Agency, as well as data compiled by WWW staff. The report focused on congestion and safety considerations associated with existing conditions, as well as conditions that would exist with the proposed Muskingum River Bridge, and can be downloaded below.
